One on One Coaching
A virtual session with one of our highest scoring London based Trauma and Orthopaedics Specialist Registrars
We are now offering a structured one-to-one coaching programme with our highest scoring Orthopaedic trainees.
This will include 2 separate one-on-one sessions as well as a formal mock interview with personalised feedback.
Our aim is to help you develop key structures and frameworks that you can utilise in your ST3 Trauma and Orthopaedics interview.
Online Resources
We are constructing a comprehensive set of online resources. The aim is to provide both content and techniques to help you in your preparation to score highly in the ST3 Trauma and Orthopaedics Application process
This will include:
- Key guidelines (NICE, BOAST etc) required for the ST3 Interview, including how to use them in the interview
- Key evidence to quote which can provide support to your answers in the Prioritisation and Clinical Stations
- Prioritisation scenarios for you to practice and understand how to explain key concepts in a succinct manner
- Annotated videos covering common clinical scenarios
- In detail PDFs to compliment our videos
We aim for our content to be as interactive as possible. It is an interview and must be prepared for differently to a written exam or even an OSCE!

The London Orthopaedic Plastering Course
Orthopaedic casting is a fundamental part of managing Orthopaedic patients. Being able to apply plasters with a theoretical understanding of the principles are essential for all Orthopaedic trainees and surgeons. So much so, it is included in the Person Specification for the ST3 application.
Lead by London Based Orthopaedic Consultants and Trainees, we hope to provide you with the necessary exposure and teaching to apply these principles in your practice. Our "hands on" course will allow you to observe and practice putting on different types of plasters, being guided by our experienced faculty. We will also provide short lectures on important techniques to know and the principles behind plastering.
